Foxx, House Republicans Statement on Senate Coronavirus Response Package

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Virginia Foxx (R-NC), and six other House Committee Republican leaders released the following joint statement on the coronavirus response package, introduced today by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), which will enhance Congress' bicameral and bipartisan effort to mitigate the spread and effects of COVID-19 on American families and businesses:

"The American worker, family, and business owner are counting on their government to act with speed and precision in this time of extraordinary need. Republican members have been in regular contact with their Senate counterparts and we applaud this collaborative approach, which will continue as this package evolves and is refined. Together is how we must govern in times of consequence to ensure Congress acts quickly."
