Committee on Education and the Workforce Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) today announced that the committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, November 15 at 10 a.m. on “Examining the Policies and Priorities of the U.S. Department of Labor”. The Honorable R. Alexander Acosta, Secretary, U.S. Department of Labor, will testify. The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Upon announcement of the hearing, Chairwoman Foxx said:

“The Department of Labor is on the frontline of the issues facing America’s workers and job creators, and sets policies that have a widespread impact on the economy, employment, retirement security, and more. It is a key responsibility of this committee to conduct oversight of this important department, and we look forward to hearing Secretary Acosta testify for the first time since his confirmation.”
